Return Policy

The Low Vision Store issues refunds on products that receive a Return Material Authorization (RA) form within 15 days of delivery unless otherwise noted at the time of sale. All returns require prior arrangements for return. Customers who receive a RA are responsible for return freight on the item and customer must ship the return within 10 days of the RA being issued or the return will be canceled. To request a return authorization, click here to fill out our online form. Returns received without a Return Material Authorization will not be processed for refund or exchange.

Deliveries of defective items and incorrect order fulfillment’s are exempt from any restocking fee and will be replaced or repaired in accordance with warranty terms. Our shipping and handling costs/charges for packaging and sending the item to you are not refundable. International orders outside the United States (determined by the “ship to” address on the order) may not be returned.

All components must be in new condition and returned in their original packaging with all parts, manuals and materials in new condition. Partial, damaged, or incomplete returns will not be refunded. Except for large CCTV and other large electronics packaged for shipment in shipping boxes all original manufacturer boxes must be placed in shipping boxes and kept free of labels and packaging tape for returns.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds at our discretion although our goal will always be your satisfaction.

All returns of items totaling more than $150.00 will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

Paypal non-refundable fees charged to us at your purchase are not refundable to us so we can not refund them to you.

Product Information

Prices, terms and descriptions of products are subject to change at any time. Sales deliveries of defective items, as well as incorrect order fulfillment, are exempt from any restocking fee and will be replaced or repaired in accordance with warranty terms.

If you return an item to the Low Vision Store, you will not be reimbursed the original shipping costs. We have a two week return policy unless otherwise specified. Refunds will be made when product is returned in the original packaging and in the same shape as received. All parts,manuals and other materials must be in new condition. If you receive an item in a manufacturer’s product box with pictures and graphics on it, you must return the product in that original box, so that box is in new condition, packed inside of another shipping box just as you received it from us. If you receive items that are defective, of course we will replace that item.

All sales of software are final unless unopened.

Tax & Shipping

Listed below is information regarding our tax and shipping methods for your reference.

No Sales Tax
Because The Low Vision Store is located in Washington State, you will not be charged sales tax with the exception of orders being placed with a Washington State billing and/or shipping address (residents of Washington are required to pay a sales tax on all orders).

Domestic Orders
Based on product availability, the lead times for individual orders may vary. Generally products will ship within 2-3 business days. We will always strive to ship the same day or the next business day. In some cases The Low Vision Store offers free shipping for certain items. If an item is offered with free shipping no shipping charge will be added for Standard Ground delivery of that item in the shopping cart though other items that you may add to your cart may add shipping to the total.

International Orders
International orders are shipped in the most efficient manner to ensure a timely delivery. If you are placing an order to be shipped outside the United States, please expect a delivery time of 7 to 14 business days after your order is placed. International orders cannot be expedited. The Low Vision Store is not responsible for any taxes and/or duties incurred upon delivery of the package(s), including amounts charged by Customs or a native courier. The Low Vision Store ships all international orders on a variable schedule determined by the contents of the order and the destination.

At the request of teachers, administrators and government workers, we have built in the ability to create sample purchase order forms that these customers can send to their purchasing coordinators or administrators to complete the order process. We suggest using the purchase order form for the following purposes:

  • Send the purchase order to the purchasing coordinator or decision-maker for purchase.
  • Send to a school official or decision-maker for consideration.
  • Print and keep for your records until funding becomes available.
